OVER THE KNEE BOOTS

I think you guys have probably guessed my favorite color to wear by now. Black. It is so easy to put together an all black outfit and keep it chic. By adding high end accessories (shoes and bag) you can elevate a really simple item like this sweater dress and make your look appear high end, or more expensive than it is. My dress is old from Express but I know it was under $100. There are so many good quality and cheap basic dresses on the market right now.

For years I wanted the Stuart Weitzman ‘Highland’ over the knee boots. They are a wardrobe staple among celebrities and bloggers. I finally took the plunge this year when they released a new style “Hiline”. I prefer them much more than the original style, due to the heel height. I went down an entire size from 7 to 6. I highly recommend trying them on in store and waiting for a sale online (happens often, don’t pay full price). I know they are a splurge so if your budget allows I recommend them.
